Frequently asked questions
Last updated: · By Wyrmkind Studio
Quick answers: Wyrmkind is a free, original fantasy quiz that runs entirely in your browser. You can retake it as often as you like, nothing you answer is stored or sent anywhere, and every dragon kind, question and name was invented by Wyrmkind Studio for this site.
| Question | Short answer |
|---|---|
| Is it free? | Yes, completely |
| Is my data stored? | No; scoring happens in your browser only |
| Can I retake it? | As often as you like |
| Is it based on a book or show? | No; it is fully original |
How accurate is the quiz?
It is a personality quiz, not a psychological assessment. The result is a fun mirror of the choices you made: each option adds a point to one of the six kinds, so your result genuinely reflects your answers, but treat it as entertainment, not diagnosis.
Is the quiz free?
Yes. There are no accounts, no paywalls and no email gates. Open the page, answer, get your result.
Can I retake the quiz?
As many times as you like. Just refresh the page or use the Back button inside the quiz to change earlier answers before you finish.
How does the scoring work?
Each of the four options on every question is tied to one of the six dragon kinds. Picking it adds one point to that kind. After the last question, the kind with the most points wins; ties are broken by whichever leading kind you picked first. The logic runs as plain JavaScript on the page — you can view the source and see exactly how it works.
How do I share my result?
Every result card has a Share result button that copies a link like https://wyrmkind.com/dragon-kinds/#emberback, which opens the reference page at your kind's section. There is also a direct link on the card itself.
Do you store my answers?
No. The entire quiz runs in your browser. Your answers are never sent to a server, never saved in a database and never linked to you. The only analytics on the site is standard, anonymous page-view counting (see the privacy policy).
Is this based on an existing book, film or game?
No. Wyrmkind is an original creation of Wyrmkind Studio. All six dragon kinds, their traits, the quiz questions and the name generator's syllables were invented for this site. Any resemblance to dragons from other stories is the natural overlap of dragon folklore, not a reference.
Why did I get a different result on the bond quiz?
Because it asks a different question. The main quiz measures your personality; the bond quiz measures how you treat a partner. Many people are one kind on the inside and bond best with another — that gap is the fun part.
